Label Templates & Guides

At MTOB™, we believe your label is more than just a name — it’s your brand’s first impression. A well-designed label builds trust, communicates transparency, and reflects the care that goes into every formula.

This page is here to help you design, structure, and comply with Australian skincare labeling standards — while keeping your brand beautiful, professional, and ready for retail.

Why Accurate Labeling Matters

Your label isn’t only about looks — it’s also about compliance and confidence.

In Australia, skincare products must meet strict standards set by the AICIS (Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme) and align with Cosmetic Labeling Guidelines.

At MTOB™, we’ve simplified this process so you can focus on creativity while we handle compliance clarity.

Frequently Asked Questions

INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names are standardized ingredient names. You can find them in your supplier's documentation, on ingredient databases like the INCI Directory, or by contacting your raw material suppliers directly.
No, you will have to use YOUR business address on the labels. Australian regulations require the responsible supplier's contact details to be displayed on cosmetic products.
You can make cosmetic claims (moisturizing, cleansing, etc.) but avoid therapeutic claims (treats eczema, cures acne) unless your product is registered with the TGA. Keep claims truthful and substantiated.
For detailed compliance guidance, consult the ACCC guidelines for cosmetics, the TGA for therapeutic goods, or consider working with a cosmetic chemist or regulatory consultant for complex formulations.
